The Padma Bridge achieved the milestone of Tk 1000 crores toll collection mark on Wednesday.
The bridge has earned the amount faster than the expected time, officials said.
Padma Bridge Site Office Additional Director Amirul Haider Chowdhury said, “More than the expected numbers of vehicles are plying through the bridge since its inauguration. As a result, the toll collection is higher than expected till now.”
