The government has appointed Md Mahbub Hossain as new the cabinet secretary.
On Tuesday, a notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration appointing Md Mahbub Hossain, senior secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, as the 24th Cabinet Secretary.
After Kabir Bin Anwar, who was named cabinet secretary on December 11, 2022, retired, Md Mahbub Hossain took his place.
