The Dhaka International Trade Fair-2023 concluded on Tuesday, fetching Tk 300 crore in export orders.
This year’s fair also posted a record Tk 100 crore in sales, defying worries of low profits due to the ongoing economic crises and the venue’s long distance from the centre of the capital.
The fair’s closing ceremony was held at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre at Purbachal in Dhaka.
Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi was present as the chief guest of the event, while Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi was present as the special guest.
