Bangladesh landed their first-ever Twenty20 International win over England as they breezed past the World Champions to win by six wickets and going 1-0 up in the three-match series.
Batting first, England could only manage 156-6, courtesy of some great death bowling from the Bangladesh bowlers.
In reply, Najmul Hossain Shanto’s 51 off 30 balls set the tone for the Tigers’ chase, from where skipper Shakib Al Hasan took them home with 12 balls to go, playing an unbeaten knock of 34 runs off 24 balls.
