The Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) has introduced 50 shuttle buses to carry passengers between Kuril and Purbachal – the venue for Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF).
“The bus fare has been fixed at Tk 35 per passenger, and the passengers will get a 50 per cent discount if the fare is paid through bKash,” Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) AHM Ahsan told The Business Post on Monday.
A total of 330 stalls and pavilions have been set up at the venue, and some 20 stalls have already been confirmed for the foreign companies, Ahsan said, adding, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the 27th edition of the DITF physically around 10am on January 1.”
“The entry fee will be Tk 40 for adults and Tk 20 for minors,” he mentioned.
